Majority of striking New York nurses announce tentative deal with hospitals.
A historic nurses strike involving ~15,000 NYC nurses has been underway since January 12, 2026 — one of the largest in U.S. history — and tentative agreements have been reached at two major hospital systems (Montefiore & Mount Sinai), with over 10,500 nurses expected to return to work. (Reuters)
